Welcome. By booking services with A&J Rental, whether online, by phone, or by email, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all residential and commercial rentals and services provided by A&J Rental.
1. Services and Pricing
All pricing provided by A&J Rental is based on the selected service, rental duration, included usage limits, and agreed delivery area. Additional charges may apply for extended rental periods, overweight loads, restricted materials, special requests, or additional service requirements.
Pricing, availability, and service terms may change without notice for future bookings. The pricing confirmed at the time of booking will apply to your order.
2. Booking and Payments
All bookings require a valid payment method. By placing an order, you authorize A&J Rental to charge the payment method on file for all agreed services, including additional charges such as overages, late fees, damage fees, or service adjustments.
Commercial accounts may qualify for invoice billing upon written approval.
3. Delivery and Pickup
A&J Rental will make reasonable efforts to deliver and pick up equipment within the requested timeframe. Delivery and pickup times are estimates and may be affected by weather, traffic, equipment availability, road conditions, or other events outside our control.
The customer is responsible for ensuring the placement area is clear, accessible, and safe for delivery vehicles and equipment.
4. Customer Responsibilities
The customer agrees to:
- Provide accurate booking and contact information
- Ensure safe and legal placement locations
- Use rented equipment responsibly and lawfully
- Follow all local permit and municipal requirements
- Avoid prohibited or hazardous materials unless explicitly approved
5. Prohibited Materials
The following materials are strictly prohibited unless otherwise approved in writing:
- Hazardous chemicals or toxic materials
- Flammable liquids or explosives
- Biohazard or medical waste
- Asbestos-containing materials
- Illegal or regulated waste
Customers may be charged additional disposal, cleaning, environmental, or damage fees if prohibited materials are discovered.
6. Damage and Liability
The customer is responsible for any damage to rented equipment while it is in their possession, excluding normal wear and tear.
A&J Rental is not responsible for:
- Surface damage to driveways, pavement, landscaping, or property
- Delays caused by weather, traffic, or equipment issues
- Loss or damage to customer property placed inside rented containers or equipment
- Injuries resulting from misuse of rented equipment
7. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellations or rescheduling requests may be subject to fees depending on the timing of the request and service status.
Same-day cancellations, failed deliveries, inaccessible placement locations, or customer-caused delays may result in additional charges.
8. Communication Consent
By contacting or booking with A&J Rental, you consent to receive communication via phone, SMS, and email regarding your booking, delivery updates, invoices, and customer support.
To stop SMS communication, reply STOP to any message or contact us directly.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which A&J Rental operates.
